WARRANTY
JDM of Miami engines & transmissions carry 30 days
warranty from the date shown on invoice. This warranty does not
apply to rotary engines or any engine used for competition purposes.
WE WARRANTY ONLY THE LONG BLOCK WITH A START UP WARRANTY FOR 30
DAYS. Our warranty covers only the internal parts of engine.
What our warranty COVERS:
All internal engine parts including pistons, piston rings, piston
pins, crankshafts and main bearing, connecting rods and rod bearings,
camshafts and camshaft bearings, timing chains and gears, intake
and exhaust valves, springs, seals and guides, oil pumps, and push
rods. The engines block, cylinder barrels and cylinder head are
also warranted to be free of cracks or distortion. In the event
of a defective engine block or head, we will be responsible to replace
or fix the defective part, at our discretion.
What parts and circumstances our warranty DOES NOT COVER:
OUR WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER EXTERNAL PARTS. All external parts attached
to the engine, e. g. turbochargers, superchargers, intake and exhaust
manifolds, carburetor, distributor, alternator, starter, emission
control devices, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, water pump,
thermostat, belts, hoses, timing belt, timing chain, pulleys, oil
pan, etc. All labor must be done by a qualified technician. Any
engine or parts that are found to have been overheated or show any
signs of damage due to improper or unqualified installation procedures.
The loss of engine, if the engine is red-lined or competitively
raced. Loss caused by modification or forced induction (NOS, Turbo,
Supercharger) for which the engine was not designed. JDM of Miami
is not responsible if the engine purchased does not fit into your
vehicle. Before purchasing the engine, verify that the engine will
fit into your vehicle. The warranty does not cover any labor charges
whatsoever for any reason; nor does it cover towing, car rental,
or any other incidental charges. We are not responsible for the
failure of emissions and smog tests. Make sure the engine is not
open; if the engine is open the warranty will be voided.
Returns:
In the unlikely event that an engine or transmission is defective,
the customer can return the item within their warranty time. All
original packaging including the paper work must be returned. Shipping
and handling fees are not refundable. Buyers are responsible for
all (both ways) shipping costs. We also recommend that you purchase
the carrier provided insurance to cover your loss in the event the
item(s) becomes lost or damaged during shipping. The customer is
responsible for checking the engine/transmission for shipping damage
and missing items while the truck driver is still there. We are
not responsible for damage caused by shipping. Once received, our
ASE Certified mechanic will inspect engines/transmissions to ensure
unqualified mechanic or improper installation and/or improper use
did not cause damage. Engine/transmission will also be checked to
ensure product matches the serial # and that our product comes with
all the accessories it was shipped with. Our product should be returned
to us the way we sent it to you.
JDM of Miami assumes no liability for any damages or injury
due to the use and/or installation of our engines/transmissions.
Only a trained and certified mechanic should do installation of
engines, transmissions, or parts. |
